After finding meditation about a decade ago, Joey began his yoga practice mainly as a means to counterbalance and ease the physical/mental stress that his competitive Kickboxing/Muay Thai sport was creating. Within a year of incorporating a regular yoga practice he noticed his long term injuries were healing and that his overall quality of life was drastically improving. Realizing the importance of yoga and meditation in his life, I flew over to Costa Rica to earn his 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certification. He further deepened his practice by graduating from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition in Holistic Health Coaching and adopting a “holistic lifestyle” which he uses to impact others through Life Coaching and yoga. Joey believes that balance is key, and yoga helps us attain just that.
