Liz Brown

Liz moved to California in 2016 but she was born and raised in Maine, and New England will always have a piece of her heart. Her yoga journey started in 2011 with an elective yoga class in college, but it wasn’t until she moved to Chico that she started practicing regularly. She quickly fell in love with the heated practice and found that yoga was an amazing outlet for her stress. She was a regular at Hot Yoga Club and loved the practice so much that she wanted to be able to share it with others as a teacher. She became RYT-200 certified here at HYC and is so grateful to be able to share her love of yoga with this community. She currently teaches Restorative on Wednesday from 7:30-8:30pm and in her class you will find yourself releasing tension, finding stillness, and you’ll leave in an incredibly relaxed state. Outside of teaching, Liz works for Enloe Medical Center in the Behavioral Health and Rehab Nursing departments. If she isn’t working, she’s either traveling or at the nearest coffee shop!
